Wesley Sinor Named Grand Marshal for 60th Annual Go Texan Parade

Community icon Wesley Sinor will lead the 60th Conroe-Willis-The Woodlands Metro Go Texan Parade on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Sinor has been a loyal fan of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) for more than twenty years. He is a graduate of Texas A&M and has degrees in both mechanical engineering and business.

The parade, a popular community event, starts in Downtown Conroe at 1 p.m. It honors the history of Texas, Western culture, and the spirit of the rodeo. Sinor became a Life Member of HLSR in 2003. He was a key figure in starting the Gatekeepers Committee and has been a leader in many roles, such as board member, vice president, and executive committee member.

In addition to his work with HLSR, Sinor is a recognized business leader.  He used to run Sinor Engine Company, a business that made natural gas engines and pumps. Under his direction, the company became the world leader in Superior Natural Gas Engines, with over 85% of the market share. When the business was sold in 2019, Sinor went into consulting while still keeping close ties to the farming and horseback riding groups in Texas.

Sinor and Cassie, his wife, both love rodeo and are very charitable. Through Texas A&M and HLSR, they help a number of different groups. Sinor loves horses so much that he is a life member of several riding groups and loves working at Sinor Ranch and W Bar S Horse Farm.

Sinor will be the Grand Marshal of the famous Go Texan Parade. He will bring his lifelong love of Texas traditions and rodeo culture to the community event.
